SEO Spam - Are you sick of it?

I wanted to write specifically about an issue that really annoys me and I am very sure annoys you too.
As part of the Lemon Group we have a company called Lemon Interactive, which offers what most web/internet marketing agencies offer. We have a team based in the UK and a well developed off shore team based in India that handle much of the technical development aspects of our client work.
So even knowing this... why do we get around 100 emails a week from crappy (usually Indian) companies trying to sell us SEO services. Do they not even see that the email address they are sending their spam to relates to an SEO company and offers the same services with an offshore team??
I bet most of you have had emails like this:

Firstly, this is a kid emailing from his bedroom, he claims 130 employees but the only thing he has 130 of, is minutes spent a day watching Pornhub!
Secondly he emails from a GMAIL account... this is a BIG NO NO. What do you have to hide? If you have 130 employees surely you can afford a website and a proper URL in your email address. The main reason they use GMAIL is to get past email blacklisting. As soon as this address is blacklisted, they start another one.
On occasion I will respond to some of these companies and see if they can beat my staff costs in our Indian team.. that usually puts them off.

My advice is simple... STAY WELL CLEAR of any of these so called companies just delete the emails instead. They all conduct poor, black hat SEO and no doubt will leave you in a worse position than before.

Am really interested to hear from any of you who have been caught by these spammers.. what experiences did you have?
